Veterinary support, day or night

Peace of mind with VidiVet

VidiVet gives our registered clients access to experienced, UK-registered vets through a smartphone or tablet app, 24 hours a day. It is our main route for veterinary advice outside our opening hours and on nurse-only days.

VidiVet access is free of charge for registered Town & Around Pet Care clients and is arranged directly through us.

For existing clients

Already registered with us?

Your VidiVet access is free of charge. Everything you need to set it up is in the registration email you received from Town & Around Pet Care.

Part of your care with us

When to use VidiVet

VidiVet fills the gaps when our own veterinary surgeon is not available, so you can still get timely advice from a qualified vet.

On nurse-only days

Our veterinary nurse can provide the nurse services listed on our website, so please contact us as usual. If our nurse cannot help or is unavailable, or your pet's concern cannot wait until our next vet day, VidiVet is available for veterinary advice.

Out of hours

When Town & Around is closed, VidiVet can help you understand what may be happening and whether your pet can be monitored, should see us when we are next available, or needs urgent care.

Simple, personal support

How VidiVet works

  1. Ask your question

Open the app and explain what is worrying you. You can include text, photos or a short video to help the vet understand.

  2. A real vet replies

An experienced UK-registered vet reviews your concern and sends a personalised video response, usually within minutes.

  3. Know what to do next

You receive clear guidance on home care, monitoring and whether your pet should be seen by a vet in person.

Advice you can trust

Help with everyday worries and urgent decisions

VidiVet can help with new symptoms, minor injuries, feeding or behaviour questions, aftercare concerns and deciding how soon your pet needs an in-person appointment.

  • Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • Personal advice from a qualified veterinary surgeon
  • Video replies you can watch again when you need to
  • Clear next steps based on your pet and your concern

Important to know

VidiVet provides advice and triage; it does not replace a hands-on examination and cannot prescribe medication. If your pet is in immediate danger or deteriorating rapidly, contact an emergency veterinary provider directly.

There is no public VidiVet sign-up through this page. We provide access information directly to our registered clients.
